Query Log Toolbar

The Lemur Query Log Toolbar is a FireFox Add-On and alternatively, a plugin for IE, that captures user browsing behavior specifically when loading web pages and generating search engine requests. A set of configuration options enable researchers and users to specify toolbar behavior. Privacy filters can be added that enable users to specify information that will not be collected and/or shared. User data is encrypted both on the local hard drive and during upload to the server to better protect privacy.

Server Software:

• Query Log Servlets (Requires a MySQL Server, Java version 5+ and a servlet container)
• Stand-alone Query Log Server (Requires a MySQL Server and Java version 5+)
• Lemur Query Log Server Source (For both servlets and server - requires a MySQL Server, Java version 5+, and Apache Ant build system)
